Qualification for Assistant Professor at University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad

Appearances will be made for candidates holding Master's degree in the concerned subject with a valid NET and one NAAS-rated research paper or Doctoral degree with NET or two NAAS-rated research papers with a rating not less than 4. In case, such candidates are not available, candidate without NET and with NAAS papers may also be considered. Upper age limit is 60 years on the date of interview.

General Eligibility Conditions

• Eligibility Criteria:

  Candidates must meet one of the following educational qualifications:

  • Master's degree in the relevant subject with NET qualification and one NAAS-rated research paper (or equivalent impact factor). If candidates with both NET and a NAAS-rated research paper are unavailable, those without these qualifications will also be considered.
  • OR, a Doctoral degree in the relevant subject with NET qualification or two NAAS-rated research papers with a rating of no less than 4 (or an equivalent impact factor).
• Age Limit: The upper age limit is 60 years as of the date of the interview.

• Salary

  • Full-Time Contractual Staff:
    • Rs. 40,000/- per month (Consolidated) for Master's Degree holders.
    • Rs. 45,000/- per month (Consolidated) for Doctoral Degree holders.
  • Part-Time Contractual Staff: Rs. 2,000 per contact hour.
